OYSTER MUSHROOMS
Many delicious varieties of oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus) are found growing on deciduous trees throughout the world, particularly North America, Europe, and Asia. They get their name from the oyster-like clusters of semi-circular caps. The oyster grows in a variety of colors: white, blue, gray, tan, brown, yellow, and pink.
